The purpose of processing the data received consists of providing information about companies to those of our clients who have closed a contract with data.be. In the context of proportionality, data.be sees to it that the data gathered are sufficient, relevant and not excessive, given the purpose of the processing stated above. Data.be aims at all times to provide an objective picture of Belgian companies within the Belgian market economy, taking account of the principle of accuracy and transparency, by referencing to the authentic source.
Any natural person who is able to prove their identity in line with the legislation in effect (i.e. by sending us a request by registered letter, containing a copy of their identity card as well as their company number (since our database use company numbers as primary identifier) has a right to inspect, as well as amend their data, on condition that the amendment corresponds with the official publication(s) relating to them.
